THE VILLAGE BREAD 

This is probably the most popular response to a first-timer's statement, "We're going to try The Little Village tonight." Our famous appetizer consists of a braided Italian sesame loaf, baked fresh to order. Removed from the oven, it's set on a platter, brushed with virgin olive oil, slapped with a dash of cracked black pepper and topped off with a coating of fresh-grated Romano cheese. We drizzle on a little more olive oil for good measure and then serve it with a side of our signature olive tapannade. It is an edible work of art. If you come see us, you have to get the bread.
